MedSpec Archimed® Universal Spinal Brace

The Archimed Universal features attached anterior panels that easily adjust to fit patients with waist ranging from 29” to 57” and up to 72” with an extension panel. The dual pulley-lace closure system works in concert with the anterior and posterior panels to easily generate circumferential compression and stabilize the lower spine. The anterior panel is removable on the Archimed Universal and allows for a step down treatment protocol. The Archimed 627 Universal has a posterior panel that extends from above L-1 to below L-5 vertebra and is PDAC verified L0627 or L0642. The Archimed 631 Universal has a posterior panel that extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to T-9 vertebra and is PDAC verified L0631 or L0648. The Archimed 637 Universal has a posterior panel that extends from the sacrococcygeal junction to T-9 vertebra, repositionable side panels and is PDAC verified L0637 or L0650.

• Universal Design: Attached outer panels easily slide to fit patients with waist sizes ranging from 29” to 57”. An available extension panel fits patients with a waist size up to 72”. Both panels are now more breathable and lower profile for enhanced comfort.
• Rigid Anterior and Posterior Panels: Polyethylene plastic panels work in concert with the pulley closure system to easily generate radial compression and increase intra-abdominal pressure. The Archimed 637 also has repositionable side panels for additional stabilization.
• New Pulley Closure System: New cord dual pulley closure system is easier to pull and provides a combined 6:1 mechanical advantage. The durable cord pulley closure system will never come off track.
